Diocese of Ely

Pure are delighted to be supporting the Diocese of Ely to appoint a new Head of Finance. This post offers great opportunity for a strong Head of Finance to support the Diocese to work towards its mission.

Its churches serve the local community, teach faith and nurture leaders to support growth. By encouraging worship in community as well as personal prayer, lives are inspired to share hope and love. Its schools reflect Christian values as children receive a great education popular with parents of all faiths, and none. Across the Diocese, they are currently prioritising boosting ministry with children and young people, and promoting the growth of worshipping communities in areas of new housing. 

This will be an exciting time to join. The Diocese awaits a new Diocesan Bishop and Diocesan Secretary so the coming years will be a time of renewed focus. The communities the Diocese serves are changing fast, and so is the national Church of England. In Ely, there is steady growth in congregational numbers, and many opportunities.
